Parker Crossbows, which has been recognized in recent years as one of the quickest growing crossbow manufacturers in America, not so long ago attracted the attention of hunters everyplace when it unveiled it is 2011 Concorde model with an innovative auto-cocking scheme at the recently-concluded West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show. The crossbow is the latest triumph for the West Virginia-based crossbow manufacturer, which has earned an splendid reputation for it is progressed designs. The company was founded in 1985 by Bob Everett. Ironically enough, crossbows are illegal in the state for the usual hunting public, but the technology is legal for use by physically-handicapped hunters with a Class Y or Class YY license.

The patented Quick Draw System mechanically cocks and uncocks the bow with the touch of a button that is conveniently located in the stock, using an internal CO2-powered mechanism. The CO2 is provided by way of a standard 9oz bottle that may effortlessly be changed, and each bottle allows the bow to be cocked up to fifty times at room temperature or 10 times at temperatures of 10-degrees Fahrenheit. This makes using the Concorde easy and effortless, even for the greenest hunter. And the cocking routine is quick, lasting no more than a few seconds while the string suppressor ensures whisper-quiet operation, ensuring that you won’t scare your prey away.

The 2011 Concorde is likewise exceedingly powerful, with a draw weight of 175 pounds and a power stroke of 9.6-inches, capable of launching arrows with a speed of up to 300 fps. The crossbow comes in a next “Vista” camo pattern that is exceedingly soft to the touch for comfortable handling. And the whole package is exceedingly compact, with a stock length of just 34-1/2″ and an axle to axle width of 19-inches.

The Concorde is available in two packages:

  • The Outfitter package allows you to choose from four scope types: 3 dot (red or green) optics; 3x multi-reticule scope; illuminated multi-reticule scope and the pin-point scope.
  • The premium Perfect Storm package provides you with everything you need to commence hunting with the Concorde, including your choice of an illuminated multi-reticule scope or pin-point scope (available as a special option upon request), six Red-Hot high-velocity bolts, six Crosspro 100 broadheads; six 100g sameness weight field points, a roller rope cocker, a crossbow sling, a wax and lube kit and a crossbow case.

The Concorde likewise comes with Parker’s patented G2 trigger technology, which allows the bow to be fired either left or right-handed and has an intermediate trigger pull of just four pounds. And like all of Parker’s products, it comes with a lifetime warranty for the introductory owner as well as splendid client service that ensures that most bows sent back for servicing will be returned within 24 hours.

When using the Parker Concorde, however, care must be taken since the mechanism is exceedingly sensitive. Make sure that the nock and bolt are in the right manner aligned to keep out of the way of arid firing, which could harm the crossbow. And arrows employed in the Concorde will have to be a minimum of 400 grains for safe firing.

5Excellent scope
By David Mazakas
I love this scope! I presently have this scope mounted to an AR15 A2. Very easy to use, firm adjustment knobs (which are well crafted) and a breeze to mount with a quick lock lever permitting you to remove it from a rain in seconds. I am also impressed with the quality of the effigy even at it is max magnification. The scope likewise has a rubber coating of armor that not only looks great but is well made and strong. This scope is a great buy for the money.

5A great Scope and a Great Price
By L. Drum
This scope is great. We mounted it and had it zeroed in 6 shots on a new Ruger SR556. The quick lever mount is genuinely nice. After zero we decisive it was to far forward so we popped the lever, moved the scope back a few notches on the rail and locked it back down. Still a good zero.

5Awesome on my S&W M&P 15-22
By RiceWorker
I’ve been looking for a powered scope since my eyesight is exceedingly horrible. My eyes are at -9.5 so I’m EXTREMELY nearsighted. This scope feels sturdy sufficient but after doing exploration (before purchasing) I read that tightening all the mounting screws, in particular ones on the bottom of the unit, will support ascertain that the scope stays zeroed after being fired. The 3x-9x adaptable power works precisely as expected if you’ve ever used a 3x-9x you shouldn’t observe a difference. For less than $200, it is hard to beat this scope. The laser is an added bonus. At basi I thought, “What’s the point of a laser on a power scope?” Well, I zeroed the scope for 100 yards and the laser is set for 50 yards. So anything 50 yards or less may be purposed beauteous speedily and effortlessly using the laser. I haven’t tried the bullet drop compensator yet since it is not calibrated for .22LR ammunition. Even without using the blue illuminated reticle, the black reticle is just fine for regular lighting. I had the stock iron sights for my S&W but honestly, I couldn’t see my targets without doubt or question even if they were less than 30 yards away. All in all, I’m very happy with this scope and I may say for sure that it hasn’t lost zero even after firing 500+ rounds with this scope mounted. Keep in mind that I’m only firing .22LR from an AR so there’s not as much kick as you’d experience from other more spectacular caliber ammunition.

Pros – The adaptable power zoom.
– Blue illuminated reticle is in truth not overbearing
– Was thinking of purchasing a discerned red dot, but the laser is more than adequate.
– Rubber coating is lasting and a definitive style bonus point.
– For less than $200, I can’t think of a better scope. (with a laser!)
– Comes with a zippered case to stow the scope if you want to.
– Flip up lens covers are clear sufficient to use even when they are in the “down” position.
– Not noticeably heavier than the factory iron sights (which I had to remove to use this scope as the rear sight was too tall)

Cons – Couldn’t leave my factory iron sights on and use this scope. Rear sight blocks the lower 2/3 of the reticle.
– Bullet drop compensator can’t be calibrated for dissimilar ammunition.
– The “laser on/illuminated reticle on” setting doesn’t let you adjust reticle brightness.
– Quick release lever is on the right side of the unit. Would have preferent it on the left side.
– Elevation adjustment knob is located INSIDE the bullet drop compensator post. You have to unscrew a cap on top of what’s
commonly the elevation adjustment post.
– Battery is one of those cr2032 batteries that’s quintessentially used as the CMOS battery in computer motherboards.
– In order to adjust the laser, you need an allen wrench.

My brother has the M&P 15 (full .223 AR) and a $400 EOTech red dot. Even he was impressed by this scope. I would unquestionably commend this scope for any individual who’s looking for an lowcost adaptable power scope. There’s likewise a version without the laser that will save you when it comes to $30. You may even get it at a fixed 4x exposure and no laser to save another $30. Get one!
